2008 has been a great year for Asgard, membership has doubled and is now full, lots of swimmers have achieved great success this year however one swimmer has inspired us all with his dedication, hard work and success in qualifying for Paralympics Games in Beiing this year.  John has chosen this year’s “Swimmer of the Year” a very popular winner DARRAGH MCDONALD.   Congratulations & Best Wishes goes to Darragh from ALL at Asgard.

Congratulations to all swimmers who represented Leinster at the Inter Provincial competition.  Leinster won the cup with points 192, Ulster came 2nd with 167 points, Connaught 3rd with 121 points and Munster 4th with 119 points. Congrats to Rory & Lara:

Rory O’Carroll represented Leinster in the U12 Boys 100 Fly and came in 1st, he was also part of the Leinster U12 Boys 200m Free Relay (1st place) and in the U12 Boys 200m Medley Relay (2nd place)

Lara Nolan represented Leinster in the U12 Girls 100 Fly and came 2nd, she was also part of the Leinster U12 Girls 200m Medley Relay which came 1st.
